Florida Undergraduate Research Conference

The Florida Undergraduate Research Conference (FURC) is one of the nation's largest multi-disciplinary research conferences. It is an annual event open to all undergraduate researchers in the state of Florida to present their research in a poster forum. Every year, the conference is hosted at a different college or university in the state. The conference boasts some of the best networking opportunities with fellow researchers and graduate programs across the country, as well as workshops and other professional development experiences.

FURC 2023 Fee Waiver
The Florida Undergraduate Research Association will sponsor several students to attend this year’s event through paying for their conference registration. Applications are due January 24, 2023. Notifications will be sent soon after the deadline.

This fee waiver is open to any undergraduate student accepted to present at the Florida Undergraduate Research Conference (FURC) who meets the following criteria:

First-time presenter at FURC

Home institution does not have registration support (please check internal offices and/or with your faculty mentor)

Is available to attend the whole conference
